They also help to make the learning process more fun and interactive. Studies have shown that courses that involve large parts of touch screen computer training are more popular with students than courses which do not make use of the technology.
Assistive Technology – For some people, using a keyboard or mouse can be a challenging task. The touch screen input system makes it easier for these people to use computers in everyday life by incorporating on screen keyboards and other assistive technology in data input processes.
Industrial And Manufacturing – Touch screen interfaces are useful in various systems within industrial and manufacturing processes. With a graphical interface, operators are able to monitor and control complex and technical operations in real-time. By combining the input device with the display screen, space is saved and there is less equipment out that can be damaged.
