The Warcraft Diet: 41lbs In 90 Days
Who says games are bad for your health?. In the case on one chubby gamer playing World Of Warcraft (WoW), his gaming obsession probably helped save his life.
Weighing in at belt-popping 274 pounds, over 19st, this gamer accredits the bulk of his weight loss to World of Warcraft. I can see many of you running to tell your rarely seen loved ones: “Look honey, 6-hours sessions of WoW really are good for my health and our relationship.†But there’s a catch (isn’t there always?).
This guy swapped his chair for a recumbent exercise bike, strapped his keyboard to it, rigged up a table for his mouse and hung a giant 46in HDTV on the wall in front of him before even breaking a sweat. Over a three month period, he hacked while he pedaled for 100 hours and lost 41lbs. He even named the new technique: ‘Warbiking’. Top marks. See the set-up here.
Still, it should be mentioned that he also went to the gym, dieted and fasted for long periods which some mad people might think helped.- Martin Lynch
