As we all know iPod has become one of the most popular brands in the portable media players segment originally designed and marketed by Apple Inc. Time and again the ipod has been redefined by expanding it’s line-up which includes the hard drive-based iPod Classic, the touch screen iPod Touch, the video-capable iPod Nano, the screenless iPod Shuffle and of course the most famous iphone. But your favourite media player may render you useless if you are not bundled with at least a couple of significant ipod accessories indeed!

Here are the top three ipod accessories which can be very handy most of the times.

Wireless FM Transmitter-4 channel

Almost most of us favour to listen our favourite music tunes through an FM stereo receiver. With Wireless FM Transmitter 4 channel you can use your iPod, PDA, MP3, CD, cassette player, PC, or laptop to listen to your favorite tunes through any FM stereo receiver. The 4 Channel FM Transmitter wirelessly connects to portable music players to your car or home stereo quickly and easily using FM radio waves. This transmitter is compatible with every ipod model.

Socks Pack for Apple iPod

Most of the times we end up with having a scratchy and scuffy gadget due to lack of a proper casing. So dressing your iPod up in any one of six vibrant color socks (green, purple, grey, blue, orange, and pink) can ensure excellent protection. This set of knit socks provides a stylish, fun, and practical way to protect your iPod. For use with all iPod models except iPod shuffle.

iPod Mains Charger + iPod in Car Charger

Never let your iPod battery run low with this iPod Charger pack. Charge your iPod at home or at the office with the mains charger or for when you’re on the go, us the in car charger to keep your iPod battery fully charged. 2 hours for full charge from dead battery with LED power indicator are some of the impressive set of features.

Such is the power of ipod accessories in making sure that you always feel happy and tune to your favourite music.

The modern stereo headphone set is a compact tool that allows you to get the most from your iPod or MP3 player. While traditional headphones provide clarity and response from home-systems, they are not designed for use with portable audio devices. To maximize the quality of sound from a digital audio player, you want headphones / earbuds that are made to be used with devices that put out less wattage than a home system. With the popularity in recent years of the iPod, portable headphones have become a niche-market unto themselves with different manufacturers pouring much money into research & development and marketing.

As with most advances in audio technology, these new earpieces provide for more and more of the experience of being in a concert hall without the inconvenience of interrupting your daily routine. Some of the most popular brands for the earpieces today are Etymotic Research, Panasonic, Shure, SkullCandy, Sony, and Ultimate Ears.

Earpieces for the serious audiophile

Most of our parents’ and grandparents’ portable audio devices had their own poor little sound amplifiers built in to make the sound loud enough for our hearing. Now days, you can get really high quality portable audio devices that don’t mess with poor little sound amplifiers. Instead you can provide your own little cool head phone amp to turn your high quality little portable stereo system into a booming sound experience. The head phone amp is the latest in audiophile gadgets. They are a bit more to haul around than your old headphones and earpieces, but they provide a sound experience to make it all worthwhile.

Accessories for the serious audiophile

To get the most of your portable audio experience, you need a good portable audio accessory kit. You’ll find that you are soon looking forward to all of those times that were once boring when you have a good accessory kit.

Even if you aren’t taking your portable audio device along everywhere you go, you may want to take your earphones. A long airplane flight will be greatly enhanced when you have a pocket-sized earphone kit to plug in and watch the in-flight movie.

Your accessories should include cable clips. These keep your headphone cables all nicely organized so you are free in movement to do other things while you enjoy your own little concert hall experience. All audiophiles have had experiences where our cords hung on something and got ripped away, often taking other things with them.

A good accessory kit will also include replacement accessories to make sure a small malfunction or accessory loss doesn’t ruin an entire day. You’ll want a spare ear phone, spare jacks, spare ear pads, and spare cables. This is especially important if you’ve invested in a very expensive sound system and you don’t want to be stuck with anything less than the best.

What goes in must be hygienic

Remember you are putting these headphones or earpieces in your ear for quite a while. You can get wax buildup and other things building up on them. Over time things can start growing cultures on your valuable sound device if you don’t take due time for cleaning. If you love your audio, you must also keep your headphones and earpieces cleaned regularly with some cleaning solution or alcohol.

Bland lives in the headphone capitol of the world, Tokyo. He frequently visits headphone shops to try new releases and often picks up new sets to write about. For an introductory set of after-market headphones, he recommends ATH-ON3 from Audio Technica. If you already know about the quality of buying headphones to replace the stock buds supplied with your MP3 player, Bland thinks the ATH-SQ5 will provide you great sound and a comfortable fit. Recently, sealed-earbuds have become popular and for approximately 100 US dollars, you can get the MDR-EX90 series buds from Sony.

Thinking about purchasing one of the new Blu-ray DVD players? Are they worth it? If you are a true audiophile, or home theater buff the answer may be in this article.

The Blu-ray players are the next-generation digital video platform. The players and their discs can record, store and play back high-definition video and digital audio, as well as computer data. Their big advantage being the enormous amount of information a Blu-ray disc can hold.

A single-layer Blu-ray disc is about the same size as a standard DVD. However it can hold up to 27 GB of data. This equates to more than two hours of high-definition video, or about thirteen hours of standard video.

Another difference is: the standard DVD player has a red laser that reads the DVD. With the Blu-ray DVD player it is a blue laser (technically violet) that reads the disc.

The Blu-ray discs have a much superior picture, and sound than the standard DVD discs. And, best of all they are indestructible. Something the standard DVDs are not. There is a video out that has a fantastic demonstration of this.

First, steel wool was vigorously rubbed over the playing surface of a Blu-ray disc. Then the disc was played, no problem, it played back fine. Next, came the ball point pen. They wrote all over the playing surface, no problem with playback.

After the ball point pen came the pizza cutter. You would think that this would be the end of the disc, but it was not. It played back fine. Then came the butcher knife, no problem, the disc is still around. The last demo was trying to burn the Blu-ray disc. That did not work either. The disc was still in excellent playing condition.

The one thing that movie buffs, or audio buffs worry about is a damaged CD or DVD disc. I loaned, my bad, one of my favorite DVDs out to someone, who I thought, would take care of it. They did not and I had to replace it.

When you rent out standard DVDs, unless you are the first one to rent them, they usually look like people eat off of them and then use them as Frisbees. Have you ever gotten a bad DVD and it won’t play on your DVD player when you get it home?

The point being, wouldn’t it be nice to know that, no matter what happens to a Blu-ray DVD disc it will faithfully play back like it is brand-new?

Think about the last time you went to your local movie rental store that there was a small section, off by itself, marked “Blue-ray” DVDs. Of course, unless you have a Blu-ray DVD player you probably walked right by them. Right now there is hardly what you would want to call a ton of Blu-ray discs out there, but this is changing rapidly.

It’s a new and very exciting technology and one that is here to stay. Oh, by the way, that small section of the movie rental store will be getting much, much larger by the week.

One studio, for example, Warner Brothers has more or less bagged the HD DVD format in favor of a Blue-ray exclusive. This means more movies than ever are going to be coming out in that format from them. Others will follow suit.

The advent of the Blu-ray players and discs are nothing but exciting. We think you will find them exciting, too! You can purchase a quality Blu-ray player in the $300.00 price range. It will even enhance your current standard DVDs to High Definition playback. Make sure your current TV is compatible to receive the full benefits of Blu-ray players. If playing your CDs or burned CDs with MP3 files are an issue, make sure the model you choose has that option. Many even in the lower price brackets do.

If you want the experience the best in movie and audio reproduction via your Home Theater, or computer consider a Blu-ray DVD Player. It breeds excitement.

Are you an avid runner? Do you compete in marathons? Or simply want to improve your fitness levels. Many celebrities have personal trainers to help them with this, but many non celebs cannot afford this extravagance! But fear not as Samsung have a solution in the form of the Samsung F110 also known as the Adidas miCoach.

How can a mobile phone help your fitness I hear you cry?! The Samsung F110 is not just a mobile phone it is also your very own personal trainer. Samsung have teamed up with the Athlete’s Performance Institute at Arizona State University, and have created a complete package for their sporty users.

The Samsung F110 Adidas miCoach will guide you through your first run to determine your fitness levels, it will then give you a range of goals that suit your fitness level along with a series of workouts to help you to reach your goal. miCoach will even create a personalised fitness plan for you.

The F110 comes with a heart rate monitor (that looks similar to a belt) which straps around your chest, as well as a stride sensor that clips to your shoe laces and counts your steps for you. This technology is synced to your mobile phone which can give you real-time voice guidance on your workouts based on the information. A handy application is the mobile phones built in accelerometer, which allows you to tap the phone twice to receive a spoken update from your phone to inform you of your current running stats including distance, time, pace, calories, stride and heart rate!

A clever addition is the 1GB MP3 player is that it selects music that you can keep up to pace with, which if you run in time with the music will help you to stay within your target heart rate zone for the duration of your run.

The Samsung F110 is a fairly basic slider mobile phone but it does also come equip with a 2 mega pixel camera, FM radio, and Bluetooth.

The F110 will be available this month, unfortunately Samsung have yet to announce the price.

Nokia is one of the first brands to establish a flagship in the world of mobiles. The first name heard with respect to the mobile phones is undoubtedly Nokia. Perhaps due to this reason, around the globe when it comes to choosing the Nokia handsets, the customers feel confident even with their eyes closed. Such is the esteem of Nokia.

When Nokia launches its handsets on a world panorama, the air becomes thick with anticipation. It is indeed a moment to rejoice for the gadget analysts and admirers as criticising Nokia is one of the most daunting challenges. For it is widely known, that Nokia is as close to perfection as perfection itself is.

One such Nokia handset hit the market in the past months and created the same wave of admiration and expectation with which the entire generation of Nokia is quite familiar. The Nokia 8600 mobile phone became a subject of fervent debates. The phone is admirably called Nokia Luna. A glance of the Nokia 8600 Luna will make it clear why it is called one of the most luxurious device of the family. The phone looks extremely sophisticated and classy with its steel bodywork and smoked glass cover. Seems that the Finnish manufacturers have put in real efforts to give it an alluring look. The appearance of the gadget is the first spell on the customers and undoubtedly it works very well. The glistening case of the handset and the remarkable slider construction of the phone is truly impressive at the very first sight. The 70 cc thick body with dimensions 107 x 45 x 15.9 mm carries a 2.0 inches true colour TFT with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.

The phone leaves every other high-end mobile phone wizard far behind with its high precision camera. The 2 MP camera of this gadget is a veteran in offering precision and delightful detailing. The camera brings out the most faded portion of the picture with an unforeseen brilliance and prominence. The resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels is what makes every part of the picture vibrant and vivacious.

The phone has Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP for all the file sharing and exchanging purposes. The phone has class 10 EDGE to provide uninterrupted Internet provision without a second’s delay. The EDGE technology is reliable enough as it takes care your priceless data is transferred safely and rapidly. The GPRS is also in a form that gives very high degree of excellence. With the WAP 2.0/xHTML browser, your own portable Cyber-café works at the command of your thumb.

The phone stands behind none when there is a question of sound quality as the MP3, AAC and AAC+ player do their jobs well. The phone has a wonderful tool in its kitty that can come handy while dealing with any financial issues – the currency converter. It also comes with a USB port so that you can enjoy transferring files from Internet to your phone. Be it music files or video files, you can transfer unlimited files. If limited storage area bothers you then the Nokia Luna comes with a huge boundless memory to engulf whatever you fill in. The phone has a 128 MB internal memory.

The genius of Nokia is reflected by the powerful Li-Ion (BP-5M) 900 mAh battery. The battery back up is remarkable with a standby time close to 240 hours and a talk time of 3 hours and 40 minutes. It means the battery has enough stamina to last long without a power feeding.

Did you know that your Zune player lets you watch movies, TV shows and in a couple of months, play video games? Most people think that they only need a Zune to listen to their music on. That’s what I thought when I bought my Zune 8! I needed a new mp3 player to take with me on work trips and to listen to while jogging! Well guess what? My plane rides are a lot more entertaining because I get to catch up on episodes of Heroes AND listen to music!

I did come across a couple of issues in the beginning, like random duplicate songs and wrong album covers coming up when a song played. I did some research and decided to join iZune Access to see if they could help me with these issues. The member privileges on this website are awesome! This is where I learned how to download the TV shows and movies that I watch on my Zune player. Not only that, their guides showed me how to rate songs using the Like/Dislike system, how to sync video from my Media Center and how to sync the player up to my XBox 360!

So yeah, I am really happy with my Zune and even happier that I found iZune Access. It’s nice to know that I can go to the iZune Access website and download whatever I want, whenever I want to. And yeah, I had to pay $34.95 to join iZune Access, but considering that I have a very busy life, I am willing to pay this fee for the convenience and resources that this site offers… I just want to make the most out of my new Zune and I am doing it!

Make the most of your Zune too!

So you’re looking for an mp3 player to buy but how do you know which one is the right one? Try doing a search online and you’ll notice that you find quite a few sellers that have these no name mp3 players available. So which mp3 player should you buy from the bunch? Let’s ask the real question… what are your specific needs for an mp3 player?

As a seller both online and offline I have found that many buyers will go for the sleekest looking mp3 or mp4 player that they find. It’s not that the specifications don’t count, but from much of the data I gathered over the years; the fashion statement seems to be the big deciding factor for most.

So now getting into it, what would you like your mp3 player to do for you? There are a couple of questions you may need to ask yourself before going online to buy yourself one.

How would you like your player to be used? This will lead you into the right direction in purchasing your player. Do you think your mp3 player will be in everyday use or will it be something you just use on occasions? If there is no particular everyday use on the mp3 player then try settling for something on the lower end of the list and save yourself some money. A lot of folks will buy something that they never end up using to its full capacity. The goal is to squeeze every last bit out of your purchase!

How deep are your pockets? Some few years back there where only a handful of mp3 players available or advertised on the market. Now when you come online there are hundreds of them in all sizes, styles and formats at a much lower cost. If you’re pockets are deep and you know your mp3 player will be of heavy use then splurge! Go ahead and get the best one you can find. But be smart about it, you can find mp3 players online now with much higher capacities and capabilities for a bargain.

What will be your main purpose for your music player? Besides music, some players come with added functions that offer a lot more. I would say if it’s purely music you’re after then you should go with the simplest version, with these you’ll get an excellent bargain and a solid mp3 player that complements your needs nicely.

If it’s the total package you’re looking for, you should try an mp4 player. They work great! You can a find them with so many added functions, it makes it worth while to have. You can look into one of those cool touch screen mp4 players that offer the most features. These touch screen players come equipped with so much and have the added fashionable sleek look that can make it pass for a camera.

Take in account your personal interests, likes or dislikes, if you’re buying it for a child take the age into consideration. Combine it all together and go for the best value. You’ll end up noticing that you can narrow your search down quit a bit and picking an mp3 player becomes a whole lot easier.

Ever seen the no name mp3 players online? You may have read or heard about them but can you trust them? Read about these discount mp3 players before you buy at http://www.music2urearz.com
